Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Organizes Training on Writing Articles for National and International Reputable Journals for Islamic Financial Management Program Lecturers

On Tuesday and Wednesday, December 7th and 8th, 2021, several lecturers from the Islamic Financial Management (MKS) program participated in a training on writing articles for national and international reputable journals organized by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The participating MKS lecturers included Dr. Mukhamad Yazid Afandi, M.Ag., Dr. Abdul Qoyum, S.E.I., M.Sc.Fin., Dr. Darmawan, S.Pd. MAB., Rizaldi Yusfiarto, MM, and Furqonul Haq, MEI. The journal writing training was specifically designed for MKS program lecturers with the rank of lecturer. The theme of the training was "Breaking into Scopus Journals Made Easy," and it took place over two days, from Tuesday at 1:00 PM to Wednesday at 12:00 PM. The training featured three speakers: Mr. Tastaftiyan Risfandy, Ph.D., from Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, Mr. Hendi Yogi Prabowo, SE, MForAccy, Ph.D., CFrA, CAMS from Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta, and Mr. Hendy Mustiko Aji from Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta.

Throughout the event, participants showed great enthusiasm during each session. This was evident as several participants asked questions and consulted with the speakers regarding their research articles. Among the participants who posed questions was Dr. Darmawan, a lecturer in the MKS program. Hopefully, the enthusiasm displayed by the participants during the training will transform into a passion for researching, writing, and publishing their research findings. This is because the main goal of the article writing training organized by FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta is for the research articles of all FEBI lecturers to penetrate (at a minimum) journals indexed by SINTA and (at a maximum) journals indexed by SCOPUS.
