Yogyakarta, May 20, 2025 – The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) UIN Sunan Kalijaga has once again confirmed its commitment to establishing international cooperation through the “UiTM Lecturers Teach” activity which took place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. This activity is a real form of collaboration between FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga and the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS) Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia.

The “UiTM Lecturers Teach” activity is an initiative to strengthen academic cooperation and exchange of knowledge in the field of Islamic economics and business between the two institutions, through direct teaching by expert lecturers from UiTM to FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga students.

This activity presents five leading lecturers from UiTM, each with expertise and experience in their fields, namely:

1. Prof. Madya Dr. Noorul Huda Sahari – Expert in Sharia Law, Usul Fiqh, Qawaid Fiqh, Halal Audit, Medical Ethics, Islamic Medical Ethics. Teaches in the Master of Islamic Economics Study Program in Classroom 103, 1st floor.
2. Prof. Madya Dr. Azri Bhari – Expert in Sharia, Malaysian Halal Law, Philanthropy for Married Muslim Women in the Property Division, Islamic Financial Legal Framework: Practice in Malaysia. Teaches in the Bachelor of Islamic Economics Study Program in Classroom 302, 3rd floor.
3. Dr. Zakiah Samori – Expert in the fields of Usul Fiqh, Qawaid Fiqh, Islamic Social Finance. Teaches in the Bachelor of Islamic Financial Management Study Program in Classroom 306, 3rd floor.
4. Dr. Siti Sarah Izham – Expert in the fields of the Quran, Hadith, Halal Food Safety. Teaching in the Sharia Accounting Undergraduate Study Program in Classroom 507 on the 5th floor.
5. Dr. Muhammad Hamizan Abd Hamid – Expert in the fields of Muamalat, Islamic Philanthropy, Islamic Economics. Teaching in the Sharia Banking Undergraduate Study Program in Classroom 504 on the 5th floor.

The event, which took place in the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, was a follow-up to the international collaboration between FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga and ACIS UiTM. This Teaching Lecturer was held as a manifestation of FEBI's commitment to strengthening international academic networks and supporting the World Class University vision and the agenda of the UIN Sunan Kalijaga rector.
The success of this activity cannot be separated from the commitment of all Study Programs in FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga who together strive to realize sustainable international collaboration in the field of the Tridharma of Higher Education. Through this collaboration, FEBI continues to strive to improve the quality of education and teaching, as well as expand its international network for the advancement of the institution and academic community.
