Meeting for Preparation of OBE and OBA-Based Learning for the Even Semester 2024/2025 and Discussion on Follow-up of International Collaboration with Malaysian and Thai Universities
The Sharia Financial Management Study Program (MKS), Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, held a meeting for the preparation of the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year on February 3, 2025. The meeting aimed to ensure the readiness of lecturers in implementing the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and Outcome-Based Assessment (OBA) curriculum in the learning process. Additionally, the meeting discussed follow-up actions on international collaborations in learning and research between the MKS Program and several universities in Malaysia and Thailand.
The meeting, held in the Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, was attended by several MKS lecturers, including Dr. Mukhamad Yazid Afandi, M.Ag, Sunarsih, S.E., M.Si., Dr. Darmawan, S.Pd., MAB., Dr. Shulhah Nurullaily, S.H.I., M.E.I., Muhfiatun, S.E.I., M.E.I., Hilmy Baroroh, S.E.I., M.E.K, Agus Faisal, S.E.I., M.E.I, Anniza Citra Prajasari, S.E.I., M.A, Furqonul Haq, S.E.I., M.E.I, Izra Berakon, M.Sc., and Ratna Sofiana, S.H., M.S.I.
The meeting commenced at 08:30 WIB and lasted until 11:00 WIB. During the discussion, various steps were discussed to prepare for the lectures on February 10, 2025. Lecturers were encouraged to actively apply OBE and OBA-based learning methods to improve the quality of education focused on achieving student learning outcomes.
In addition to academic preparation, the meeting also emphasized concrete steps to realize international collaborations. Commencing in the even semester of 2024/2025, several MKS lecturers are scheduled to teach at partner universities in Malaysia, such as Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Additionally, several lecturers from abroad will also participate in the learning process at the MKS Program. The Sharia Financial Management Study Program is also preparing to host student and lecturer mobility programs from Malaysia, aimed at strengthening the exchange of knowledge and academic experiences between institutions.
With this meeting, it is hoped that all lecturers will be able to conduct lectures effectively and support the implementation of the designed academic policies. Furthermore, the established international collaborations will further strengthen the position of the Sharia Financial Management Study Program on a global scale.
