Establishing Research and Learning Collaboration between Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka and Sharia Financial Management
On Monday, January 20, 2025, at 14:00 WIB, the International Lecturer Mobility Program (ILMA) delegation from the Sharia Financial Management Study Program (MKS) continued their series of activities by visiting Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). This visit marked the second university destination for the MKS delegation on the first day of the ILMA program. The delegation was officially welcomed by UTeM leadership, including the Dean, Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs, and lecturers from the Faculty of Technology Management and Technopreneurship.
The visit commenced with a warm welcome from Professor Dr. Mohd Syaiful Rizal Bin Abdul Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Technology Management and Technopreneurship. In his remarks, he expressed deep appreciation for the MKS delegation's visit and shared his enthusiasm for building closer academic collaboration. In response, Dr. Darmawan, S.Pd., M.A.B., Head of the Sharia Financial Management Study Program, outlined the primary objective of the visit to explore opportunities for collaboration in research, learning, student exchange programs, and the development of a double degree program for MKS students.
Following the welcoming remarks, the event proceeded with presentations and intensive discussions on the implementation of the planned collaboration. Dr. Fauzan Adhim and Dr. Siti Nur Aisyah Binti Alias, as Chairpersons of the Student Mobility Committee at UTeM, outlined the mechanisms for student and lecturer exchange programs, as well as various opportunities for collaboration in research and learning. During the discussion, the MKS delegation, represented by Anniza Citra Prajasari, S.E.I., M.A., Ratna Sofiana, S.H., M.Si., and Hilmy Baroroh, S.E.I., M.E.K., also proposed collaboration designs to strengthen the academic relationship between the two institutions.
