In his remarks, Dr. Darmawan, S.Pd., M.AB., CFRM., Head of the Islamic Financial Management Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, presented ideas on village, coastal, and urban development as a characteristic of the Islamic Financial Management Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. These ideas are part of the concept of the role of Islamic Financial Management developed by the Islamic Financial Management Study Program in responding to various economic issues in society.

According to Dr. Darmawan, the concept of the role of Sharia Financial Management is a hallmark of the development of teaching, research, and community service at the Islamic Studies Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This characteristic is realized through attention to the characteristics and needs of communities in rural, coastal, and urban areas, particularly in relation to financial issues, economic empowerment, and poverty alleviation.

The development of these characteristics is one of the distinctive features of the Islamic Financial Management (MKS) study program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, compared to other Islamic Financial Management study programs. By integrating rural, coastal, and urban contexts into the development of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the MKS study program strives to develop knowledge that is not only theoretically oriented but also directly connected to community needs and problems.

From this perspective, Islamic finance is positioned as an instrument that can contribute to improving public welfare. Strengthening Islamic financial inclusion is expected to support communities in gaining access to appropriate financial services and resources, while simultaneously opening up opportunities for economic empowerment in various regions.

The Stadium General event took place in an interactive, academic setting. Students had the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of Islamic financial inclusion issues and understand how Islamic Financial Management can be developed to address poverty issues in diverse societal contexts.

This activity also affirmed the commitment of the Islamic Financial Management Study Program (MFBI) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga to continuously develop education, research, and community service that are relevant to real needs. Strengthening the characteristics of villages, coastal areas, and urban areas is expected to establish the academic identity of the MKS Study Program while strengthening its contribution to Islamic financial development and poverty alleviation efforts.
